Andean Health & Development invites you to join us on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Ecuador and Machu Picchu to see the work that you support and learn about the incredible Andean region of South America. We are organizing this trip as a way for friends of Andean Health to see AHD’s two hospitals and the communities they serve and to raise the final funds for Hesburgh Hospital.

7/30: Fly to Quito, Ecuador, from the US
7/31: Tour Quito or Mountain Bike in the Andes
8/1: Visit the Center of the Earth followed by Hospital Pedro Vicente Maldonado
8/2: Visit Hesburgh Hospital in Santo Domingo, then travel on to Lima, Peru (or back to the US if not doing second segment).
8/3: Tour Cusco, Peru, and see the Incan ruins
8/4: Tour the Sacred Valley
8/5: Visit Machu Picchu & Aguas Calientes
8/6: Fly back to Lima. Tour of Lima briefly, then travel on or fly back to the US.
$950 per person (double occupancy) for the Ecuador segment only (7/30-8/2)
$2,850 per person (double occupancy) for both Ecuador and Peru (7/30-8/6)
*Price does not include airfare from/to the US but does include airfare within South America.
Down payment is due by January 12, 2016. The suggested donation or fund raising goal is $2,500, but there is no obligation! All activities are optional, and all ages are welcome.
